2 Corinthians 4:16
Today’s good news is: From the moment we are born we begin to die. Well, it’s not really good news, is it? But it is reality. Even though there is a period of growth for the first 18 years or so our bodies are continually subjected to the dangers and deterioration of a dying world. However, the complexity of the human body and the ingenuity of our mind combined with our feelings and that spiritual element within point to the probability that we were made more than simply temporary beings. The greatest hope that anyone can have is the promise of a long and bright future where everything we learn, experience and endure is all for a greater purpose. As fully devoted followers of Jesus we experience an inner awakening and renewal from the time we hand our lives over to him. At this point we stop dying on the inside, experience a new heart and grow into a new future.
