The impossible

It is impossible to understand God, it is impossible to be good enough for Him, it is impossible to change ourselves, it is impossible for us to change others and it is impossible for anyone who is sinful, selfish and stubborn to be transformed by their own efforts.  Everyone knows that and Jesus said to his audience that it is indeed impossible for humans but God in his grace and mercy and kindness provides the way.  He provided his son Jesus to come and transform people’s lives, not just by his teaching but by his power and his presence.  He convicts, challenges, compels and recreates us to become what we could never become ourselves. He provided the way when there was no way.  He made the impossible possible.
