Genesis 9:2 ‘The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air’
Whether it is taming a tiger or breaking in a horse. Whether it is trying to get a bird to sit on a shoulder or a cat to do what it is told. It is clear that animals are not naturally man’s best friend. Sure, over years of interaction or purposeful breeding, the fear of humans can be reduced and a bond formed but left to their own devices they soon return to being wild.
This statement from God reveals where it all started and is a result of a fallen, broken world. One day it will all be reversed, when Jesus comes again and resets everything to the way it was, before sin entered the earth.
Are you ready for the day you meet your Maker? Whether through death or the coming of Jesus. There is only one way to experience what the world was like before Adam sinned and that is to be right with God through His Son when that time comes.
