Romans 8:1
Religion is often associated with condemnation, guilt, judgement and pressure to perform or conform. Many view religious people as being on a life sentence of hard work and strict compliance to burdensome rules and regulations. Those that follow Jesus, however, have not taken on a life sentence but have rather been given a “get out of jail free” card. We realise that our wrongdoing and our mistakes have been taken care of by Jesus, and we are free to live life without the shackles of guilt and regret. All are eligible for this new life but unfortunately many are not aware of the difference or just not interested.
