Psalm 23:4
Let’s face it – life can get pretty dark sometimes. It can feel like we are in a hole with no way out. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one or overwhelmed with the breakdown of a relationship or buried under the stress of your job or overcome by fear of the unknown it seems real and it seems like it is going to last forever. The promise of God for those that trust in him is that these times are temporary and that he is with us. We don’t have to be alone, and we can be reassured knowing that what we are going through will pass. Without knowing God and without knowing his promises what else is there to do in these situations but to give up and get stuck or burn out by trying hard to get out. Which would you rather hope or hopelessness?
