For most of us peer pressure extends well beyond the grounds of our high school days. If you are not sure about that try saying no to something today or try standing up for something you are passionate about. You will find that many people will try and convince you to say yes or will bring you down for having such wild ideas. Following the crowd is the path of least resistance but it is also the road to nowhere. Like a sheep breaking away from the flock who are mindlessly running toward the pens for slaughter we are soon hunted down or pursued to get back in line. Taking a stand, challenging the status quo and living for God is different and difficult but the outcome will define who we are and ensure we make a difference in the lives of those around us.
