There are very few people who disregard the consensus that the Jesus who Christians follow actually existed. Historians, scholars, lawyers and investigators have no choice but to be convinced that this Jesus walked the earth due to the evidence available. What causes controversy and debate is who He was. Some say He was a mere man who did many good deeds. Some say He was a popular philosopher. Some say He was a good teacher. If these were the case, why was He executed? The reason He was hated by the Jewish leaders and the reason they plotted to kill Him was because He claimed He was God. Each one of us must come to a conclusion, based on evidence and experience, on who Jesus is. Have you made the effort to discover for yourself or are you relying on others to make your mind up for you? Perhaps you don’t want to find out?
