Isaiah 40:31
Hope is like breath, we can’t live without it. Hope is more than dreams and wishes because they can easily vanish. Hope is more about trusting that there is a future and a purpose for our life. Without hope we give up, without hope we get tired, without hope we don’t have a reason to get up in the morning. The trouble is if our source of hope lets us down, whether it be a person or a dream or some other thing, then we have difficulty getting back up again. This leads to despondency, distress and depression. What if our hope was in the One who fulfils every promise and will always be there for us? What if we were to trust in the One who has made us and has a purpose and a destiny for our lives?
