Matthew 1:21
Some think Jesus was simply a good teacher, others know him as a prophet, some would say he was some sort of magician, others don’t think he existed at all. Most don’t realise that the evidence from inside and outside of the Bible unavoidably points to him being who he said he is. Most people don’t bother to investigate for themselves but rely on others who seem to know what they are talking about. Perhaps we don’t want to acknowledge that we are in need of a Saviour. I know I don’t like to admit I am wrong or that I have made a mistake or that I have unsavory thoughts or that I would never be good enough for a perfect God. The good news is that Jesus came to make a way for us to be right with God regardless of what we have done, what we have thought and what we have believed. He will save us from ourselves and from our sin if we let him and believe that he is who he said he is.
