Isaiah 41:13
Many of us have become desensitised to the violence, abuse, political unrest and natural disasters which flood our televisions and social media pages. Getting used to these things is an inbuilt protection mechanism which stops us from being overwhelmed and overcome but also causes us to be numb and to stop caring. If we stop and reflect though, we live in fearful times and the future can look very dark and scary. As followers of Jesus, we are promised that he who created the world, defeated death and holds the future will walk with us through whatever comes our way.
