2 Chronicles 7:14
There may be times in our life where we feel we are far from God. Perhaps this is because we have ignored him, turned away from him or simply not believed in him. Then some hardship or crisis comes along and we call out to him to save us and at least speak to us. It is these moments when we call out to him we can be thankful that while we feel one thousand miles away it only takes one step to find him again. This one step means to acknowledge that we can’t do it on our own after all and that we need his help. He promises to reveal himself and respond to us when we turn to him and ask for his will to be done not ours.
