Innocence is an endearing quality in children. It makes them cute and loveable bringing back fond memories of the days where we too didnt have a care in the world. Innocence is really only treasured once we become older and wiser and realise how much easier life might have been if we weren’t so keen to lose it. As followers of Christ our speech, choices and conduct should attempt to reflect His purity. This doesn’t mean we are naeve, ignorant and out of touch but that we have the God given strength to resist the temptations that seem so normal and attractive yet bring guilt, shame and regret.
