In today’s world where scammers are trying to get our attention daily with unbelievable offers and terrific deals we have learnt to be sceptical. You might have received an email telling you that you have won an obscure lottery or a phone call advising you about a new ‘legal’ tax dodge. Whatever the case may be the saying ‘if it’s too good to be true it probably is’ is great advice to help stop us falling for these tricks. We can think the same way about God sometimes. When we are told about his grace, forgiveness and mercy it can sound too good to be true. For those that have decided to take up His offer and put their trust in Jesus we can echo the words of David in today’s verse and understand that in this case it is not too good to be true. He is that good and it is true.
