The way we live today affects the lives of our children tomorrow. The values we hold will either make life easier or more difficult for those that follow in our footsteps. Sure, some characteristics are genetic but in general the decisions we make and the battles we win or lose now will impact the quality of life of our little ones later. I know that while I have made my own choices in life I am reaping the blessings of my parents who made the choice to be obedient to God, to live the way He wanted them to, to stop doing things that caused Him displeasure and to overcome temptations and adversity. So if things seems difficult right now and you just can’t seem to change, you are struggling to break those habits, you are not able to trust in Him completely and make the choices you know you should then do it for your kids and their kids. They will thank you for it and your families future will be changed forever.
