Where is wisdom?

When it comes to making decisions in life most of us take the easiest way out. It is easier to be swayed by popular opinion, easier to be influenced by advertising and easier to be persuaded by family or friends, politicians or pastors. Easier than what? Easier than working it out for ourselves. Easier than researching all the options. Easier than interviewing these affected. Easier than investigating all possibilities. Easier than taking care and responsibility for our own decisions. It takes time, energy and effort to get wisdom and good judgement which is probably why it is in such short supply. For followers of Jesus it can be that little bit easier as the source of all wisdom, His Spirit, is always with us and in us.
