Belief and faith are different although you will have heard them often used interchangeably. Belief is knowing but faith is following. Belief is understanding but faith is demanding. Belief can generate respect but faith learns to expect. Belief may require proof but faith requires trust. In their search for God I think many people come to believe that He exists but are unwilling to go to the next step and put their faith in Him. Belief and faith are different yet interdependent if they are to make a difference.
