Limited

Some of us live by using our mind to figure things out. Others live following their heart to determine what to believe.  Others only believe what their eyes can see.  Some may trust what they hear.  At some point there will be a time when we need to use more than one of these to make a decision, perhaps two maybe even three or all four.  Then there are those times when something else is required – faith.  The times when we have learnt, felt, heard and seen all that can be presented but there is still a gap between where we are and where we could be which requires us to let go of what we have known to experience something more.  Education, understanding and experience can help us to a point but then we must decide for ourselves whether to reach for more.  The journey for more is endless but not pointless.  As followers of Jesus we know there is more to this life and more to the life that is to come than we can comprehend but with Him it can be exciting rather than daunting.
