There wouldn’t be a lot of days where I can reflect and consider that I have had a significant win. In fact on many days I have felt that I haven’t achieved what I needed to achieve, that I haven’t made a difference, that what I have done has been a waste of time and that there must be more to life than this. Please don’t misinterpret my despondency as depression as I do have hope. Where there is faith there is hope. Where there is faith there is victory. There is victory to remember, victory to enjoy and victory to look forward to. Jesus is faithful to fulfil his purpose in our lives at the right time particularly when we are open, obedient and faithful. So while life can be dull and difficult at times we can still have reason to be happy.
This is the day of the LORD ‘s victory; let us be happy, let us celebrate!
