Unseen

Why believe in something you cannot see?  Why love, follow and obey someone who has not been seen for almost 2000 years?   There is sufficient evidence to prove that Jesus lived on this earth by both secular and religious historians.  Even so, it still remains Jesus has not been physically seen since the disciples claimed that he rose again and disappeared into the clouds not long after his death.  Since then many followers of Jesus have endured and continue to experience isolation, ridicule, abuse, torture and even death because of their confidence that Jesus is alive even though he hasn’t been seen.  Physical evidence may be what you think you need but what he does on the inside is far more powerful than is possible by just seeing.  Have you considered calling out to him and seeing if he actually responds?  Why not test it out?  

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
