Actions speak louder than words. There are many who have claimed to be Christians and yet willingly and knowingly live out a life that brings shame and disrepute to God and all of us. While we cannot control what others do it is important for us to live in such a way as to model the purity, love and compassion of Jesus. We cannot be perfect but the good we do should outweigh the bad to the point that when we fail it is considered to be not like us. When we do fail to live out the good we know then we should be quick to acknowledge our failures and seek forgiveness from any we have hurt. Living this way helps to avoid false accusations or at least stops them from having any credibility. There should be more than enough evidence for the good in our lives so that if we are falsly accused of wrong doing nobody else believes the lies laid against us.

It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you.
