What drives you?

What is it that drives us to find purpose and destiny in our lives? What is it that causes us to long for the right job or to live in the right town or to have the right house? Something in us desires the right girl or guy to spend our life with. Whatever it is it motivates us to earn more, spend more and long for more. There is a sense that what we have is never enough to satisfy us. We want to make the most of the life we have, enjoy it and feel like we have accomplished something and not wasted our money, time or energy.  History is full of people who have found love in all the wrong places, who have built empires around the world and who have tried all sorts of things to satisfy their hunger and thirst for more but it was never enough. Yet we seem to think that these things will work for us even if on a much lower scale. Why not take Jesus at his word and discover the satisfaction, fulfillment, purpose and love that he offers?
